Meet My Classmates
This week my professor assigned me to look at my other classmates' blogs and take about their bio pages. I really enjoyed this assignment because I got to see what everyone has been dedicating their whole semester working on. You also learn a lot about a person when you read their blog posts.
Sarina Nunes
Sarina's blog was a joy to red about. Her blog is mostly about the entertainment industry, which is the business she would like to work for one day. Sarina is also interested in the production side of telecommunications. Sarina has interned for NBC's Late Night with Seth Meyers and The Wendy Williams show, both in New York City. She seems like a driven and passionate storyteller who has had experience in the field she wants to enter.
Chris O'Brien
Chris' blog is about his journey in New York City... what attractions to visit, what places to eat, etc. Chris took this spring semester to be an intern in the city for CBS News. In another post he mentioned that because of the coronavirus, he has had to go back home to Florida and end his NYC journey a little earlier than anticipated. Chris is a big sports fan and hopes to be able to travel one day. He is done some pretty cool internships, such as, WBIR in Knoxville Tennessee and TV20 in Gainesville, Florida.
Lauren Reynolds
Lauren is a senior at UF who has a passion for sports and fitness. She created "The Lazy Lifter," a social platform that allows her to share what she knows about fitness. She came up with the idea when she was back at UF. She knew how hard it was for students to go to school, have a job and be in internships, so she came up with a way to give others tip on how to workout right in the comfort of their homes.
