Indie Flea Markets? I'm There!

On February 11th,  Gainesville Indie Flea Pop Up Series  held its first of four showcases at Depot Park. The event was composed of different vendors selling up-cycled goods, art, vintage clothes and home decor, unique jewelry and leather products. The event also has local food trucks show up! The indie flea market is a good way to keep creativity alive in the 352.

Here's a glimpse of what the event looks like.

The event allows for anyone to sign up to become a vendor. Local vendors were excited to set up their products. The theme was to keep all things indie.

I had the opportunity to go to the event. It was filled with one of my favorite things: colorful vintage clothing! Here are a few pictures I was able to snap while there:

Overall, the Indie Flea Market was a great time for the community to come together. It was a family and pet friendly event. IndieFlea will host it's other events on June 10th, October 14th and December 9th. If you're interested in going to the next events follow them on Instagram @indieflea.
